Privacy Policy — Preferans

Effective date: May 20, 2026  ·  Developer: Boris Rayskiy  ·  Contact: brayskiy@gmail.com

This privacy policy explains how the Preferans Android application (“the app”) handles your information. The short version: the app collects nothing, sends nothing, and stores everything locally on your device.

Information we collect

We do not collect any personal information. The app does not register accounts, ask for sign-in, or identify you in any way.

Data stored on your device

The app stores the following on your device only, using Android’s standard local storage (SharedPreferences and a single private file named pref_score):

This information never leaves your device. It is not transmitted to us, to any server, or to any third party. Uninstalling the app permanently removes it.

Network access

The app makes no network requests. It does not contain analytics, crash-reporting, advertising, or tracking SDKs of any kind. The Android manifest declares no internet permission.

Permissions

The app requests one Android permission:

Children’s privacy

The app is suitable for general audiences and does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children under 13. Because no data is collected at all, the app is compliant with COPPA, GDPR, and similar regulations by design.

Third-party services

The app uses no third-party services, SDKs, analytics, advertising, or content-delivery networks. The only third-party code in the app consists of standard Android system libraries (androidx.*, the Material Components library, Kotlin coroutines), none of which transmit data from this app.

Changes to this policy

If this policy is ever updated, the new version will be published at the same URL and the effective date above will change. Material changes will also be noted in the app’s release notes.
